Quince & Medlar Review
Sophisticated and imaginative vegetarian cuisine, served by candlelight, is the specialty at this refined, wood-paneled Georgian town house. You'll probably be offered a drink in the sitting room before being called to your table; you choose from at least six main courses, such as smoked Cumberland cheese and mushroom roulade, all served with seasonal vegetables. Desserts are delicious, especially the lemon-and-almond sponge.
