Yewfield Review

With the laid-back friendliness of a B&B but with most of the style of a country house, this is a very good value for the money—especially if you can get one of the rooms with a great view across the valley from the front of the house. The 19th-century Gothic house, between Hawkshead and Tarn Hows, has a large lounge and sits on 30 acres of land. Breakfast is wholesome and vegetarian. Check out the good discounts for longer stays.
