Getting Here and Around

Bishop Auckland is just off the A1 motorway from London (260 mi) or Durham (13 mi). There's no direct train service here from London or Durham. However, you can take a train from either city to Darlington and change. The journey takes about three hours from London and one hour from Durham. National Express offers a regional bus service between Bishop Auckland and Durham. This trip takes about 30 minutes.
