Portchester Castle Review

Incorporating the walls of a Roman fort built more than 1,600 years ago, Portchester Castle claims to have the most complete set of Roman walls in northern Europe. In the 12th century a Norman castle (now in ruins) was built inside the impressive fortifications. From the keep's central tower you can take in a sweeping view of the harbor and coastline.
