In a secluded stone house, this homey B&B with a walled garden opposite a 13th-century church is in a quiet, unspoiled village 3 miles north of Sherborne. The guests' lounge has an inglenook fireplace, the comfortable bedrooms are cheerfully decorated, and watercolors and sleek pottery created by the owner are on display throughout. A traditional breakfast, which features homemade jam, is served at a farmhouse table in the wood-paneled dining room. Nearby pubs provide evening meals.
