Royal Navy Submarine Museum
Royal Navy Submarine Museum Review
The highlight here is a tour of the World War II submarine HMS Alliance, from the cramped quarters to the engine room. The museum fills you in on submarine history and lets you view Portsmouth Harbour through a periscope. There are plenty of subs, weapons, and diving paraphernalia around the large site. From Portsmouth Harbour, take the ferry to Gosport and walk along Millennium Promenade past the huge sundial clock.
