Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire Review
Although deep in the peaceful British countryside, this country-house hotel on a 500-acre estate is only a half hour from Heathrow. The original wing of the manor house (the others are more contemporary) dates back to 1728 and combines Georgian charm with modern luxuries like marble bathrooms and Frette linens. Relax in the heated indoor pool or at the spacious (27,000 square feet) spa, or enjoy country pursuits like horseback riding, fishing in the stocked pond, falconry, and clay-pigeon shooting. Dining options range from a bistro or spa café to a more formal restaurant serving Continental cuisine.
