The Shelleys Review

The lounge and dining room in this 17th-century building are on the grand scale, furnished with antiques that set the tone for the rest of the lovely building. Rich fabrics and elegant wallpaper pair with antiques and well-chosen modern pieces in the guest rooms, which have comfortable beds. The garden is a joy. The hotel, not far from Glyndebourne, is known for its old-fashioned but friendly service and its excellent restaurant.
