Getting Here and Around
Frequent trains arrive from Bodmin, Penzance, and Exeter. From London Paddington, trains take around three hours, 20 minutes; National Express buses from London's Victoria Coach Station take five hours, 20 minutes. The train station is 1 mi north of the seafront, connected by frequent buses. Long-distance buses stop at the centrally located bus station off Royal Parade. Drivers can leave their cars in one of the numerous parking lots, including a couple right by the harbor. The seafront and central city areas are best explored on foot.
