Yorkshire Restaurants

Weavers Review

This restaurant serves traditional, Northern regional food in a cozy dining room. Organic dinner options change with the seasons, but typical dishes include pork with pancetta and chutney, roast cod with braised leeks, or slow-cooked lamb with an orange-and-currant sauce. Whatever you choose, it's served with warm, home-baked bread. Set price menus (two-course for £15.50, three for £17.50) offer good value. Although Weavers is known primarily as a restaurant, upstairs there are a few spacious rooms with antique French beds. Should you spend the night you'll find that the breakfasts are amazing, with delights like smoked haddock omelets.
