Merchant Adventurers' Hall
Merchant Adventurers' Hall Review
Built between 1357 and 1368 by a wealthy medieval guild, this is the largest half-timbered hall in York. Portraits, silver, and furniture are on display, and the house itself is much of the attraction. A riverfront garden lies behind the hall.
