On the fringes of the wilderness treeline, the pinewood fittings and neutral-tone textiles of this contemporary Lappish hotel go well with its natural surroundings. All rooms have a balcony, and many have a sauna. The restaurant serves fresh local specialties, including reindeer, salmon, and snow grouse. The hotel is only 30 minutes from Ivalo airport, and its location provides excellent cross-country and downhill skiing; snowmobiling and reindeer safaris are also offered. There is a children's playroom.
