Set on the hillside overlooking the Saône and La Croix Rousse quarter, and a good address to keep in mind for Bocuse pilgrims (Collonge au Mont D'Or is just a 20-minute stroll upstream), this former residence of the noted neoclassical Lyonnais sculptor Joseph Chinard offers bright guest rooms furnished with antiques and curios, while windows provide panoramic views over the city from atop the sheer drop down to the river.
