Le Verre à Soi

Le Verre à Soi Review

Smack in the city center, overlooking the river, this convivial cave à manger has everything necessary for a satisfying, and reasonable, dining experience. Specializing in artisanal and local charcuterie and cheeses, with an impressive selection of wines by the bottle or glass and bargain prix-fixe menus (€12-€16 at lunch; €19 dinner Friday and Saturday only), what's not to love? You may opt to stick with small plates, like a luscious fish paté or roasted Camembert, or go for a satisfying main course, like boudin noir served with mashed potatoes, or marinated sardines, a local specialty. Friendly service and a lively clientele are an added bonus.
