Fodor's Review:

When it comes to steaming bowls of noodles, this no-frills dining room divided into three sections beats its many neighboring competitors. Behind the counter -- an entertaining spot for solo diners -- cooks toil over giant flames, tossing strips of meat and quick-fried vegetables, then ladling noodles and broth into giant bowls. A choice of formules allows you to pair various soups with six delicious gyoza (pork-and-vegetable dumplings), and the stir-fried dishes are excellent, too. Don't expect much in the way of service, but it's hard to find a more generous meal in Paris at this price. There is a more subdued annex (without the open kitchen) at 163 rue St-Honoré, near the Louvre.

When you are hungry for great noodle soup and pot stickers, this is the ticket. The newer place on Rue St. Honore was nice, but the old one on St. Anne was rowdy and fun. Delicious

Tons of food for cheap

This is a great little Japanese place in the 2nd. It has huge portions of noodle and rice bowls with stir fried meats and veggies. Their gyoza and miso soup are also quite good. Best of all, it's pretty cheap. Prices for meals that include a main dish, gyoza, soup, and a small salad are usually around 10-11 Euro only. And it's open on Sunday!
