E. Dehillerin has been around since 1820. Never mind the creaky stairs; the huge range of professional cookware in enamel, stainless steel, or fiery copper is gorgeous. Julia Child was a regular.

    E. Dehillerin Review

    Unless you can speak French very well and enjoy abuse find another place to buy cookware. Prices are not always marked and when they are - it is in francs and even these are inaccurate when you try to make a purchase in their complicated check out. Disgusted, I strolled down the lane and found a wonderful shop at 15 rue du Louver - Verrerie Des Halles. Well stocked and friendly to foreigners, I was able to make several purchase.
