Fodor's Review:

Around the same time that his popular bistro Le Pamphlet closed for renovations (it reopened in early 2007), chef Alain Carrère launched this casual annex two streets north of place des Vosges. Run by the same professional team that made Le Pamphlet such a success, this bistro couldn't be more welcome in a part of the Marais where good value can prove elusive. In a rather impersonal setting brightened by Jacquard, table runners, and framed sketches, happy diners tuck into dishes such as a snail brochette with semolina gnocchi and sorrel sauce, parmesan risotto topped with griddled shrimp, steak with potato gratin and a crumble made with Mirabelle plums. The friendly staff are eager to please.
