Situated in an enclosed hilltop garden studded with tall palms, mimosas, and tropical greenery, this is the sort of place where only the quiet buzzing of cicadas interrupts silent nights. Many of the guest rooms—modestly decorated in Victorian florals and all redone, right down to the floors, in 2013—overlook the sizable pool; its presence helps make up for quarter-mile hike down to the beach.
