La Reserve Review

The first impression of old-world grandeur given by the beautifully proportioned lobby of this handsome pink building is carried through to every opulent corner. Rooms tend to expensive cream and peach tones highlighted with some truly glorious antiques, while large bouquets of fresh flowers add a welcoming touch. Not to be outdone by the sophistication of the hotel, Restaurant des Rois (possessing two Michelin stars) is a marvel of light and color, with a chandelier-bedecked salon lined with bay windows that offer views of a watery nirvana. For lunch, everyone heads to Vent Debout, perched over the pool. Chef Romain Corbiere creates original recipes from fresh Mediterranean products, and rarely disappoints. Reserve well in advance during the summer season.
