Arte Luise Kunsthotel Review

This hotel's name suggests a bohemian commune, but all the residents are paying guests. The Luise is one of Berlin's most original boutique hotels, with each fantastically creative room in the 1825 house or new wing—facing the Reichstag—styled by a different artist. Memorable furnishings range from a suspended bed and airplane seats to a gigantic sleigh bed and a freestanding, podlike shower with multiple nozzles. A lavish breakfast buffet in the neighboring restaurant costs €11.

My trip to Germany: Arte Luise Kunsthotel. LOVELY!

When I decided to book this place I never thought it was going to be so lovely. I booked it because I read good reviews of the hotel and because I wanted something different. When travelling I always try to book a different kind of hotel and this one has surprised me positively. The place is always very clean. The lobby, the rooms and the bathrooms, even if you choose to share are always neat. And the room service is also fantastic. The other day I was so exhausted I ordered breakfast to the room. Nothing was cold and the fruit was super fresh. I loved it. However, the real charm of this place is that an artist has designed each room. I choose the Samarkand room and the experience has been fantastic. It has all the Uzbek folkloric style. If I come back to berlin some time this would be my first option to overnight.

    Art Luise Hotel

Stay in the newly added wing. It has an elevator. The rooms are soundproofed and have good central air conditioning. The train tracks are next to the rooms in the new wing yet the sound proofing is impressive. There are several good local restaurants between the hotel and the Friedrichstrasse station.
