Sitting canal-side on a deck chair at Freischwimmer is perfect for warm nights, but heat lamps and an enclosed section make a cozy setting on cool ones, too. To get here, walk five minutes east of the Schlesisches Tor subway station and turn left down a path after the 1920s Aral gas station, the oldest in Berlin.
