$$$$, French, Western Downtown
Fodor's Review:
Few hotel-restaurants become a sensation, but this award-winning one is outstanding, even if it doesn't shake the hotel-restaurant look with its carpeting and heavy drapes. Chef Matthias Buchholz prepares French cuisine like a native. Occasionally the menu turns to German roots, with Müritzlammrücken in Olivenkruste mit Bohnenmelange (Müritz lamb back in olive crust, served with green beans). The four-course menu costs EUR 71. If you're a wine connoisseur, ask sommelier Herr Tietz for a look at the wine list, which holds more than 800 red wines.
