Among the major symphony orchestras and orchestral ensembles in Berlin is one of the world's best, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, which resides at the Philharmonie mit Kammermusiksaal. The Kammermusiksaal is dedicated to chamber music. Tickets sell out in advance for the nights when Sir Simon Rattle or other star maestros conduct the Berlin Philharmonic, but other orchestras and artists appear here as well. Free guided tours take place daily at 1 PM.
