The Cox has been a reliably stylish restaurant for several years. It remains one of the hippest places around, with waitstaff (and patrons, for that matter) who won't give you any attitude. The dishes, mostly German nouvelle cuisine, are known for the careful use of fresh produce and spices from around the globe. The simple and cool interior with red-leather banquettes is reminiscent of a French brasserie.
