Inspired by its Speicherstadt location, the restaurant has the exposed brick and beams from the former warehouse that add a rustic charm to the sleek furniture and lighting in the large dining room. Like its architecture, the menu combines traditional German food with new techniques. Its Hamburger Aal Suppe is the traditional Hamburg staple with the twist of sweet apple. The kitchen offers diverse à la carte menus including the Elementar (classic) menu with traditional appetizers and entrées, and Elegant and Exquisit menus with more complex offerings and wine pairing. Although service is formal, the dining room is relaxed.
