Café Schell

Fodor's Review:

At the hand of master pastry chef and chocolatier Eberhard Schell of Café Schell, an unlikely duo -- essig (vinegar), made from Spätlese and Auslese wines, and chocolate -- is handcrafted into a scrumptious, not-too-sweet delicacy known as Essig Schleckerle. The unusual Pralinen (chocolates) filled with wine vinegar were the first chocolates to be patented and listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Since their debut in 1995, innovative Schell has created a range of exquisite chocolates filled with wine and wine-based products from several of Germany's leading wine estates.
