Philosophenweg

Fodor's Review:

You can reach this trail high above the river in one of two ways -- either from Neuenheim or by taking the Schlangenweg. Both are steep climbs, but you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the Old Town and Castle once you reach Philosophenweg. If you feel up to the challenge, you can explore the trail by bike. It stretches into the woods to a small town called Heiligenburg. From Neuenheim, turn right after crossing the bridge and follow signs to a small alleyway.
