Fodor's Review:
Nestled in the hills above the village of Neckarwestheim, south of Heilbronn, is one of the area's most beautiful castles, Schloss Liebenstein. Within the 3-foot-thick, whitewashed castle walls, the peaceful hush of centuries reigns over a setting of comfort and noble elegance. Guest rooms have views of forests, vineyards, and a golf course. The restaurant Lazuli ($$$$) has gourmet cuisine (three- to seven-course menus only); Kurfürst ($) serves regional fare; and light meals are available in the beer garden.
