Parts of this half-timber hotel—which is in a small, peaceful village 3 km (2 mi) north of Überlingen—date from the 17th century, setting a romantic tone that's further enhanced by the huge fireplace in the center of the restaurant. In the modern annex you can relax on your room's balcony. An 18-hole golf course overlooking the lake is 1½ km (1 mi) away.
