It may be 10 minutes by tram away from the city center, but this modern, friendly hotel's spacious rooms, sauna, pool, and Pfeffermühle restaurant ($$$) justify the journey. In the Pfeffermühle the hotel has one of the region's finest restaurants, and its superb breakfast buffet is in keeping with the inventive international menu and silver service offered in the evenings. A recently added, modern terrace catches the sun until late in the day, and the hotel's Salz bar serves reasonably priced cocktails. Massage and physiotherapy can also be arranged.
