Planning Your Time

The Fairy-Tale Road isn't really for the traveler in a hurry. If you only have a day or two to savor it, concentrate on a short stretch of it. A good suggestion is the Weser River route between Hannoversch-Münden and Hameln. The landscape is lovely and the towns are romantic. If you have more time, but not enough to travel the whole route, focus on the southern half of the road. It's more in character with the fairy tales.
