Bistro Zicke
Bistro Zicke Review
Weekend brunch (served until 4 pm) can be a busy affair at this French-inspired artists' café tucked away on a quiet square, one block from the riverfront. Otherwise, the bistro—with its big windows and walls plastered with old movie and museum posters—is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the busy Altstadt. The word Zicke ("nanny goat") is a commonly used insult for a moody woman, yet the bistro is a friendly place to stop in for a drink or to try the simple French-Italian cooking.
