Dom St. Kilian (St. Kilian Basilica)

Dom St. Kilian (St. Kilian Basilica) Review

Würzburg's Romanesque cathedral, the fourth-largest of its kind in Germany, was begun in 1045. Step inside and you'll find yourself in a shimmering rococo treasure house. Prince-bishop von Schönborn is buried here. His tomb is the work of his architect and builder Balthasar Neumann. Tilman Riemenschneider carved the tombstones of two other bishops buried at the cathedral.
