Classical BabyGrand Review

Fun yet posh, this dream pad for the young and the young-at-heart is a crazy/cool boutique art hotel (just note the vintage convertible parked in the lobby)—though its locale is slightly sketchy if you're not fond of inner-city grit, it is also strategic: City Hall, Omonia, and the Central Market are all close by. Ten international artists were commissioned to decorate the place with neon art and graffiti pieces, but never fear: guest rooms can be comfortable and understated, with curvaceous lines and art deco modeling. Another array of rooms, however, are among the most dazzling in Europe, with walls covered in psychedelic-like clouds in one or pop art olives in another. Kids of all ages can even enjoy some superhero motifs. The hotel's restaurant, BabyGrill, is a funky version of a Greek taverna and is next to the Moet & Chandon champagne bar.
