Fistiki Festival Review
Pistachios from Aegina have often been called the world's best, so it's not surprising to learn that every September the 3-day Fistiki (Pistachio) Festival celebrates the blessed produce of the island through a series of events and exhibitions, ranging from a reenactment of the threshing and harvest of pistachio to classical music concerts and exhibitions of photographic works by local schoolchildren. The activities are spread all over the island and are organized by the Municipality of Aegina.
