On your way south from Megalochori to Akrotiri, stop at Antoniou Winery and take a tour of the multilevel old facility. It's so beautiful, local couples get married here. An enologist leads a wine tasting with snacks, and a slide show describes local wine production; it costs EUR 5. Many think Antoniou's white wines are Santorini's best -- and that's saying a lot.
