Visitor Information
The Peloponnese are woefully underserved by tourist offices. Olympia has a locally run tourist office and Nafplion has a municipal tourist office across from the OTE (telephone-company) building, but these are lackluster at best; most towns in the region do not have tourist offices of any sort. For tourist information and general help in places without tourist offices, it's best to contact the local tourist police, who often speak English and can be extremely helpful.
