Aroma Suites Review

For a caldera view, this recent (2006) accommodation is an exceptional value, thanks to its small white cave-rooms with vaulted ceilings—nicely decorated with warm touches of color and sleek marble fixtures—and its common terrace overlooking the caldera, just the place you'll want to sit mornings and evenings, perhaps sipping some excellent wines grown on owner Fanis Kafouros's vineyards. Transfers and breakfast are included. Pool privileges can be had at the nearby Loizos Apartments. To get to Aroma Suites, which is open all year, head to the southern end of Fira's caldera walkway, then follow the signs down. Fanis also has some apartments featuring caldera views and no steps.
