Museum of Marble Crafts

Museum of Marble Crafts Review

The highest building on Pirgos hill, the Museum of Marble Crafts is the latest addition to the Piraeus Bank Cultural Foundation's network of hi-tech museums on the last century's traditional industries. Inside the strikingly modern building exhibits on view show the process of quarrying and carving and they are the best you'll ever see. The master-artists's drawings for altarpieces and tomb sculpture are also on display, as are some of their works.
