La Maison de Catherine Review

This hidden restaurant's Greek cuisine with a Gallic touch is worth the search through the Dilou quarter of Mykonos. Outdoor tables are on a narrow street, while the lovely interior features Cycladic arches and whitewash with a faded 16th-century tapestry from Constantinople. Fine food keeps people coming, despite the prices, for such delights as the zuchini flowers stuffed with rice, mint, and pinenuts, or the mussels in light cream sauce, white wine, and red peppercorns, or the chateaubriand with grilled vegetables. Finish with the apple tartine with Calvados cream. Divine!

    Expensive but Charming

    We ended up at Catherine's after a rather poor experience at Sea Satin. Catherine's is charming and the owner very relaxed. The food was good and flavorful but very expensive for what you get. Service is rather slow and relaxed like the atmosphere definitely not five star.

    Wonderful place but.....

    This place is very charming with its lovely decor and music, however it is overrated when it comes to good food.
