"A true village!" is the way this hotel's Web site announces the showstopper here: a painstakingly created "village," complete with winding cobblestone streets, colorful town-house facades, boutiques, and rustic main square—all in all, a delightful "stage-set" of traditional Samian architecture. Guests can also choose beachfront accommodations in the gigantic plush main hotel building. Along with a nice view of the sea, the guest rooms here (just as in the "village") are filled with elegant contemporary furnishings and, even better, staffed by a well-trained professional team. To top it all off, there's a wealth of resort facilities—even an on-site folklore museum.
