Elia's Review

Located at the Mandraki Village boutique hotel but popular among nonguests, Elia's has received rave reviews from some of Greece's leading food critics and keeps visitors coming back for more. White, deep red, and shocking magenta are the theme colors at this airy, colonial-style restaurant with high-backed, material-covered chairs, soft, radiant lighting, and a sophisticated allure. The French chef combines mainly seasonal, local ingredients with creative, contemporary Franco-Mediterranean flair and few will be able to resist the aubergine and goat's cheese mille-feuille with pear, the octopus carpaccio, the fisherman's pasta with prawns and shellfish, or the home-made crème brûlée—the only such dessert you'll find on Skiathos is divine.
