Fodor's Review:
This low-frills hotel serves breakfast in one of the most famous (and touristy) restaurants in town, sharing neoclassical quarters with the Mátyás Pince eatery. Newer rooms are standard pastel-contemporary and have small bathrooms with shower stalls. The hotel's older section is still inhabited by some private tenants and is accessed by a tiny elevator. Converted from apartments, these rooms are spacious and have soaring ceilings, but are best taken by those who find exposed heating units and other such quirks atmospheric rather than off-putting. Some rooms have stunning views over the Elizabeth Bridge, Belvárosi Church, and beyond to Castle Hill.
