Bars, Around Kalvin ter

If you ever wondered what Hungarian interior design looked like under communism, look no farther. A walk into this basement bar is a carefully stylized step back into 1970s Hungary, with decor mostly in black, orange, and lacquered wood. Old clocks, rugs, uncomfortable reclining chairs, and an espresso machine the size of a desk are all on hand to see. The drinks here are simple, as are the snacks, but the ambience is a winner.
