Of the Indian restaurants now crowding District V, this upscale eatery has become a local favorite. The airy interior is decked out with modern Indian furnishings like funky mosaic floors and woven orange placemats. The menu concentrates on curries and "sizzlers" (kebabs), most of which can be made of beef, lamb, or chicken, but all the vegetable dishes like saag paneer (spinach with fresh cheese) and daal (lentils) are expertly done. Unlike the traditional Indian family-style servings, portions here are served per person, so if you want to share, let your server know when you order.

Nicely furnished, great service. It it not what you will find in many Indian places, at least in New York, doesn't have a lot of typical spices. Was very spicy and very good.
