Most taxis operate on the meter; ask for a price for longer journeys. You can order in advance. Most cabs will hold four people but you can pre-book a larger taxi that will hold six. Typical fares: Belfast International Airport to Belfast city center is around £25; Belfast City Airport to the city center is around £6; Derry City Airport to Derry city center is around £12. The minimum fare is usually £2.50 and £1.05 per mile thereafter although the larger multi-seater cabs are more expensive.
