Nothing succeeds like success. So popular is this classy little Italian joint just off Nassau Street that they've expanded into the premises two doors down. Pity the poor little coffee shop in between trying to compete with the unpretentious brilliance of this brother-and-sister restaurant and deli. The menu couldn't be simpler: paninis (sandwiches), antipasti, a single pasta special, and desserts. But the all-Italian kitchen staff work wonders with high-quality imported ingredients. The antipasto misto, an assortment of thinly sliced Parma ham, three types of salami, sun-dried tomatoes, cheeses, peppers in olive oil, and artichoke hearts makes a great light lunch. A couple of long tables make it perfect for a group, and the hundreds of bottles of wine on shelves cover every inch of the walls.

Good Italian food in a cafe atmosphere.

Its rustic the feel inside like something from Italy. The shelves are lined with some nice bottles of wine and the recently expanded the space. i ate here 3 days ago and go some evenings. They always have 2 daily specials, Great pasta (dente!) and nice antipasti plates with Pannini only served at lunch. Great value and nice little side street with tables outside in good weather.
