The Deep South comes to Dublin with this dark, bustling restaurant, a firm favorite with vacationers and large parties. Images from the heyday of the antebellum South, bamboo, and dark-wood set a broody, atmospheric scene for colorful creole cooking. Seafood fans shouldn't miss the Cajun popcorn -- a mountain of spicy baby shrimp coated in bread crumbs and served with a creamy tomato mayonnaise. Spicy blackened chicken with savory rice is another favorite. Desserts are reliably good, particularly the Mississippi mud pie.

Had a great meal here, but when we arrived for our 8pm reservations, we were seated at about 8:45. Given, the place was very busy, but when you have a reservation??? Food was great(get the jambalaya), but the service was rather slow and I felt like we had to push our server along. Overall, I would go back.... and drink more.
