Foley's Townhouse and Restaurant

Fodor's Review:

Rooms in this 19th-century row of interconnected town houses have Victorian antiques and rustic, pine furniture. Windows are double-glazed, so the rooms are quieter than you would expect for a hotel right in the center of Killarney. In the restaurant ($$-$$$$) chef-owner Carol Hartnett makes use of local ingredients, including superior Irish cream and butter. Roulade of trout stuffed with prawn mousse and grilled T-bone steak with garlic butter are typical dishes. The wine list has more than 300 selections, and a pianist entertains in summer.
