Lisdoonvarna Spa Wells

  • Address: Town Park, Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare
  • Phone: 065/707–4023

Fodor's Review:

If you're curious about health cures, the Lisdoonvarna Spa Wells is worth a visit. Iron and magnesia elements make the drinking water taste terrible (as does most spa water), but the bathing water is pleasant, if enervating. Electric sulfur baths, massage, wax baths, a sauna, and a solarium are available at the spa complex, which is on the edge of town in an attractive parkland setting.

  • Cost: Complex free, sulfur baths EUR 6.50, book in advance
  • Open: Early June–early Oct., daily 10–6, subject to refurbishment: check in advance by phone
